It is hard to believe that the summer is just about over for us. In three days we will have a 5 year old (cue the tears) and then in 6 more days school begins.

Give me all the Pickles
One thing I can always count on to bring me a little joy, no matter what, is being in the kitchen coming up with new meals or snacks to try! Last week while at the grocery store the girls saw these cute “baby cucumbers” and they just had to have them! It is probably one of their go to vegetables, so clearly I said yes, with a side of ulterior motives.
Marathon Training- Week 6
Its hard to believe that I am one third of the way through my training program. Somedays, as you all know by now, I struggle, and somedays my training is on point, and I am so hopeful for my performance.

I missed last weeks update, sorry friends. Summer vacation is busy around here. We are soaking in as much fun as we can! The girls and I snuck away for a little Muskoka getaway to visit one of my oldest friends and spend time with my parents, while hubby stayed home to tend to our ever growing funny-farm. Meatless Quesadilla
I have been wanting to cut down on our meat intake lately. We probably eat some for of meat almost every meal, the exception usually being breakfast.
