Happy Halloween
While Halloween may not be my most favourite “holiday” I do love seeing the excitement on my girls faces, as they get to dress up and play pretend for the day. It is also a great time to get together with family, and share in the childhood joy!!
Butternut Squash Soup
Have I mentioned before how much I love soup? Because I do! It is one of my favourite fall meals. This soup love might steam from my childhood, where my Grandma would cook up the most delicious soups to be served before the actual meal. It is part nostalgic, and also because you can basically throw anything into a pot with broth and make a meal!
Give me all the Pickles
One thing I can always count on to bring me a little joy, no matter what, is being in the kitchen coming up with new meals or snacks to try! Last week while at the grocery store the girls saw these cute “baby cucumbers” and they just had to have them! It is probably one of their go to vegetables, so clearly I said yes, with a side of ulterior motives.
Meatless Quesadilla
I have been wanting to cut down on our meat intake lately. We probably eat some for of meat almost every meal, the exception usually being breakfast.
